once upon a time there was a girl
she was beautiful inside and out
they all thought she was perfect
they were all jealous
they were all mistaken
they didnt know what she went through when she went home
if only they had taken a walk into her real life
at school she put on a mask, she hid her scars under her sleeves
no one knew that she went into the bathroom at lunch to add a few more marks on her tattered arms
she thought she was doing the right thing by keeping everything bottled up
but she was wrong....that was what was ruining her
if she had the courage to speak up...she may be able to actually help someone
maybe there was another person with the same problem, could she save a life?
at night while she lay in bed she heard the screaming coming from downstairs
why every night, she thought, why cant they just not fight for one night?
but of course the arguing didnt stop
i cant take this anymore, she whispered to herself
she looked around at the dark room and she wanted to do it, she was going to do it
no one would even notice, she wasnt loved....
not by her parents, not by her friends...they didnt even know the real her
so she did it....she cut herself until she blead to death
if only they would have stopped fighting for one night.....
they could have saved a life, their daughters life.
