Special Agent Bookworm
My Spy Log. Confidential! Oh, you'd like to read it? Alright!
So I had an idea for a story the other day is kinda goes like this.

There are 7 kids and they all get an odd manila envalope in the mail one day with a pre-preogramged GPS in it as well as a little note that says 'be careful'.
They all have a creepy encounter with these grey people in long black coats and hats with red eyes. I've decided that these people are the shadows of crows, they're jelous of the birds that fly while they are always stuck on the ground. These Shadow Cros try and convince them not to go but they all end up going anyways.
They each find their destinations and get a small backpack with their names embroidederd on them.
Inside they each have:

A PDA
A puzzle key
A little strange toy piece done up in red.
Maybe something else, I haven't decided yet.

So the note I haven't compleatly worked out yet but it contains the information:
There are seven others, they're both your friends and your competitors
There are other clues all other the world and it's up to you to find them.
The true text is always written in black and the importent stuff is in red but you have to be careful becasue the red text is also a lie if if you believe what it says, at least at face value.
Importent things are that the key changes, it's written in red, a red hearing, meant to throw you off becasue it has a couple of differnt meanings: the keys you get at first can be re-configured to so they fit more than just one lock and the 'key person', there is one for every challenge, changes. You need the 'key person' to lead in that particular challenge.
They are seven parts of a whole like how 7/1 is the same as 1. They are seven seperate parst of the same whole.
They're job is to find Fenwick. It doesn't say what or who Fenwick is.
They are warned that if they chose to undertake their journy they have to be prepared to leave everything behind, that's written in red becasue it inclused their other team mates at times.
There's also a phrase in red that says something to the effect of, 'it's the begining' but what they mean is it's the begining but the begining is also the end.

In one way or another they all chose to take it up and set out following their first clues.
They end up in pairs and one group of three.
Their personalities are perfectly offset. I'll have to write them all out later.

The story will be called Finding Fenwick. The end of the book they find the final clue and the place their lead to is an open plane somewhere where the four winds meet every 100 years and create a giant wind tunnel for 100 days.
So what now? There's no Fenwick here and no more clues but the first clue, the begining, has the clue. It's about the red pieces they got.
They all assumed a red haring, meant to throw them off but one of them figures it out. It's a puzzle, they put all of them together. It's not a red haring, it's importent, it just takes the right way to look at it.
The pieces are a modle when put together, a plan for a flying machiene that will suposedly lift on the currents of air.

"So we've got a plan but how do we know where it'll take us?"
"We don't."
"Exactly, we don't who or what this Fenwick thing is or if it's even still around."
They looked around at eachother, into the faces they now knew better than their own.
"When we started this, they said we had to leave everything else behind us. That means doubt as well."
"Yea, so what if their not around, there are still clues, there's is something somebody want us to find, I think it's up to us."
"I'm pretty sure it always has been."
"So I don't care, I'm commited to this thing, who's with me, follow this thing to the end, or as far as we can?"
They all say something to the effect of yes.
"So it's settled then, we find Fenwick wherever or whatever they are."

The End Of Book One.
