Let's say that I'm about... 2000 gold away from my wonderful Guitar of Demona.
Which is frustrating, because by the time I have collected that much, the Guitar will probably have become more expensive.
At least, that's what happened to me when I was questing for the Ninja Headband.
But I still haven't given in to the temptation to buy other items in the meantime. cool
