Today we had the All-District Concert. It was... boring, interesting, tiring, fun, etc. I'm not really sure. My brain is basically dead right now, so I'm not really thinking well right now. I'll just list some things. That seems like the easiest way to tell about the day.

1. The director wasn't very good. She basically worked us to death. Our mouths and lips and teeth, everything, were so sore. Or, at least the brass ones were. Kirin (2nd chair French Horn) and I were betting that she played a woodwind instrument because she never gave us much of a break. We also guessed she was a clarinet player because of her personality. Guess what. We were right. Anyways, we were really sore.

2. Our performance was really bad. You could easily tell that all the brass people were tired. We couldn't play very well, let alone play high and sustained notes. The music was easy. The only tricky parts were pitch wise, not rhythm.

3. There was a car that caught on fire outside. It didn't blow up though. People came and put it out.

4. During the concert, the fire alarm went off because some popcorn was burning in the microwave. That took about 15-20 minutes to be figured out.

I'm having trouble thinking right now. I'm too tired to have coherent thoughts or speech, for that matter. If I think of anything else, I'll probably do it tomorrow.
