There is a spark between you and i
Something undiscovered begging to be found
Everything we could be is up in the sky for you to see
It could be amazing like the stars that shine at night
Brilliant and pure among an infinity of darkness
Can you see what you do to me?
I wear my heart on my sleeve and i wait
Waiting for the right time to present it to you
Then maybe i can stop all this pretending
Pretending like you don't have the ability to make my breath falter
We are more than just friends can't you see?
You came around and flipped my world upside down
You redefined everything i thought i knew
And you showed me sorrow is merely a state of mind
Now i want to show you how it feels...
To stand in the rain and press your lips to mine
To let go of the past and create a future
And to hold out your hand for me to hold
A burning passion burns through my chest
Tingling sensations spreading throughout my body
I feel light-headed and unsually care free
But at the same time an ache in my heart gnaws at me
This feeling you give me is something to wonder
Making me miserable but yet my heart flutters
Uncertainty infiltrating my mind with a smile on my lips
Tears rolling down my cheeks despite the fact that i'm laughing
I simply don't know how i feel anymore
