The steel boots landed on the ground with a Thud.The loud Barking and the sound of chains was enough to wake the whole city.Men with guns and large numbers of fanged beasts moved in squads of what seemed like billions. Sirens Began to go off as the men with guns shouted orders, and the beast roared in the cold night air.With all the noise I was surprised that the whole world of Azira hadn't heard it.They would soon,however,Azira would be shocked to find That Three of the ten Most precious jewels had been stolen in the past month.
I hid in a dark ally, almost invisible to all.I was out of breath.I needed a break, I had been running for more then six hours, and by this point I could hardly stand. I felt my forehead, The steel platted eye patch that covered my left eye was as cold as the night itself. When I thought I was capable of moving again, I stood up. and looked at the giant clock tower that resembled Big Ben of the human world.The time read 11:50pm which meant I had ten minutes to get to the Harbor.
I leaned out of the ally slowly.Looked around both corners, almost instantly I was spotted by the fanged beast which are known as Leomongers.I ran straight to the leomonger with my sword drawn, knowing that if one leomonger was alive to see me, It could easily inform others of my whereabouts. As the Beast jumped at me to snag My face with its Saber teeth, I hooked it By the right side of the cheek. It fell to the ground with a large howling type sound. Six men with guns and a few more Leomongers came around the corner.Knowing I was outmatched I had little choice but to flee. The time now read 11:57pm, I had less then five minutes to reach the harbor, I ran as fast as my legs would carry me. Finally the Harbor came into view. once I reached the dock, which was about 400 feet above the water, I turned around to see I was surrounded.
"On the Ground! Drop your weapon!."The men yelled.I stood and laughed.The time now read 12:00am."Come on boys come get me." The men didn't take kindly to my childish game, they rushed in weapons drawn.I let myself fall of the edge of the dock.The men where astonished to see me commit suicide. The Slowly approached the edge of the dock to see where my body lay floating like a log in the depths. But The only thing they saw, was a giant Flying Aircraft, rising from the water, When the men noticed the ship was rising toward the dock, the fled in terror.The Dock broke apart With a Crash, as the giant ship with the Word Crucifix engraved on the side rose high into the sky, and On the crows nest of the ship, stood its captain. Me.
"Did we get the score Bro?" Little Jordan asked, sounding very impatient.I smiled at him and a large red Jewel in my hand.Jordan peered at the red jewel, and then made a large crowing sound, Soon the Jewel And I where surrounded by the Crew mates of the Flying ship, I handed the Jewel to Jordan, and instructed him to put it in the volt, he obeyed,and did as he was told.I walked to the captains room.Sat down and thought to myself,what should be next on my list to take. I pulled a long pipe out of my back pocket and began to smoke a little Reefer to ease my mind.
