Chinese New Year
It's Chinese New Year today, or as others would reference it, the new year based on the Lunar Calender. When compared to the calender of choice, the Lunar Calender finds itself presenting the new year on different days, ranging anywhere from mid-January to late-February. I believe it's even possible to push into March - and because of that, the holiday itself cannot be recognized by the government, thus preventing people from having an official day to take off. Oh well, it's not too bad - at least they accept the idea of the dragon dances and fireworks.
