Hadassah
Well, I have awesome news! I am now a member of Hadassah! Hadassah is a Jewish women's group promoting Israel and Jewish culture. It's a huge group! It's international, but the base of operations is in the US. It costs $36 for a year of membership. I couldn't afford it. So, this person from Seattle said I'll pay for your membership. I was so happy! Not only that but our new group of the Seattle charter nominated me as Secretary. This is awesome! Not only a member now, but an executive member! I haven't been this happy in years! I'll try and do my best as Secretary, but since I don't have a job or anything else I should have enough time for it. My first day on the "job" will be this Wednesday at our business meeting. So far we only have 4 members on the board. We have the President, me, the Treasurer, and the Membership person. We're supposed to have at least 7. It should be short but interesting. Oh, and the President for the group decided to drive me to these meetings, where my mom isn't really supposed to be at. Another plus!
