What is it good for?


I continued walking around the city, looking around the main plaza, a large circle filled with stores and a big fountain in the middle, and, of course, the clock tower, so as the blood-thirsty shadow person I had become, I climbed up it. I looked around the city, and saw a small black blotch on the street. Oh great! soldiers came to kill the monster I'd become. So, like what monsters would usually do, I attacked first. I leaped from the top of the clock tower and they shot at me, so when I landed I snapped a few necks. They charged at me full throttle, gun shots lit up the main plaza, and gave the night a good symphony. After about, five, six, maybe ten M16 gun magazines that were emptied into me, I scurried away yelping in pain, I climbed to the clock face of the clock tower, and broke through it. The soldiers walked in through the ground-level entrance. “Keep moving soldiers,” said the leader, then I hit something and let it drop, so it made a plunk as it hit the ground close to the group, they immediately started firing. “Stop, hold your fire!” commanded the leader, “keep on your toes, and ready your weapons, keep your flashlights on,” he finished. I dropped down, a tentacle attached to the rail on the walking grates above, and I took three soldiers with me, my own soldiers. Hired and trained by me, were now getting killed by me. They herd the discrete scream let out by the ones taken, so they started aiming all over the place, the flashlights lighting up their fire path, others blind shot. “Stop firing, keep It down!” whispered their leader, “lets head out, this is dangerous for us at the moment, we’ll return tomorrow night.” concluded the leader. The small group left and returned to base, they had a small inky sample of the shadow thing that took me over, since I had it all over now. I morphed back into Takashi and I walked home clumsily, and drunk-like. When I got home, the figure was still in my room, and strangely it was talking to me, “Haha, sounds like you’ve had quite the night eh?”, it said to me, “Yeah, I could be sleeping right now if it wasn’t for you.”, I replied, anger in my eyes and my fists curled. “Now, don’t be so hasty to get revenge now.”, it said grinning. “You basta-!”, my word started to get flimsy and I couldn’t speak soon enough, now I was morphed once again, within what seemed like minutes, I woke up on top of the clock tower with dead bodies lying around me, my shirt was torn and walking home was a distant memory.

I lifted myself up and walked towards the edge of the clock tower surveying deck, I looked down and saw a lot of people walking around the plaza, shopping, staring at the fountain, and I decided to get down, so I backed up slightly and I shouted, “Shia ka zing!!!”, at the top of my lungs, then clapped my hands and Xambler was unleashed from inside me. I ran to the edge and jumped, only to realize, I’d forgotten how to fly. I dropped like a sack of bricks, and hit the ground hard. People screamed then ran over to see what happened, I got up and jumped, trying to remember, then I remembered I can run really fast. So I ran until I got home, walked up stares, changed back to Takashi and stumbled into bed, and was sleeping within seconds. The next morning I woke up, nothing seemed to have happened. I looked around my room, and grabbed my cell phone sitting next to my clock, ten o‘clock, I opened my phone to check the date, October twentieth twenty two thirty. Wow this is weird, I’ve woken up two days in a row feelings great, not a regular thing for me, today was Sunday so It’s a day to go out with my girlfriend, Natalie. So I went down my stairs and opened my fridge, took out the eggs and cooked up a nice egg sandwich. Few hours later I was walking to the main plaza to buy some nice things, until, you guessed it, big attack on the north wall. I ran over to the wall where Pencilman was, commanding the soldiers, turns out the Imperial Guard had attacked us at the north wall, “Send some men down to the south, east, west, southeast, southwest, northwest, and northeast walls, they’re probably trying to siege us, have the citizens head to the protection sector.” I commanded my army. I got on a regular suit of armor, they already knew I was apart of the Militia, and was a lead commander. I grabbed my AK-47, few grenades, and my combat knife, so I was ready to battle. I ran through the wall with the first wave of soldiers, “Throw all your grenades to the crowd, not to the front, we already have some mines set-up!” I ordered, the soldiers followed through with the command, the explosions were all over the wave of Guards. “Alright, heavy weapons fire!” I commanded, then rockets and grenades flew more and killed off more Guards. “ok…ready…aim…FIRE!!!” I commanded, as everyone shot off everyone they saw that wasn’t on their side.

I lunged at the crowd and shot anyone down, then I ran out of bullets so I dropped the gun and pulled my glock out and shot into the crowd. I Jumped into the air, and pulled my knife, falling into someone and stabbing them, since I was indestructible, the knife was pretty productive. During battles, the Militia commanders were allowed katana’s. So I had a katana, commanding officer or not, Xambler or not, so I drew my katana and slashed everyone down, until he leaped from the sky. My enemy, my rival, my potential murder, my father. Twilight Sin had the same power I did, but had more time to master it. I leaped into the sky and morphed into Xambler, Air-to-air/hand-to-hand combat. I swung a right hook at him, he dodged, grabbed my arm, then threw me to the ground. I flew up again and took a spinning attack at him, a move I call the “drill” because I straighten my body out, with my arms and legs out, then I spin really fast and start a flame around me so I become a spinning fire ball. I hit Twilight Sin in the chest, and he flew back. I regained my air balance if that makes sense, so I took out my glock and fired at him simultaneously, non-stop. When the clip was done with I pressed the release button and had it fly at Twilight Sin, he blocked it. “Is this some kind of joke? Do you think I’m not worthy for a good hand-to-hand fight?!” he spat out, “No, I just like pissing you off.”, I replied. I lunged at him, while he was lunging at me so we collided, we were holding each other by the neck while we fell to the ground. By the time I hit the ground I was already suffocating already, Twilight Sin was the only one on the entire freaking planet that could kill me, and this might just be my end. I kicked him off me, and he got to his legs and looked around. He looked really stunned that all of his men were either dead or retreating. So he decided to throw a boulder at the wall, damaging the wall slightly. Then he flew off back to his city where he was always welcomed.

This fight isn’t easy, but life is like a rodeo, it’s always full of bull s**t.
