After awhile of walking Masumi and the others were lead to a staircase that went down to the bottom of the house.Ryu had already caught up to them.
Satoshi took Kazumi off his back once he stepped down in the place.It was more like a tunnel,on the side of the walls there were lights so that whoever was down there would be able to see
Ryu sighed slightly as he looked up at Satoshi who was closing the door the the tunnel above them "I wonder if she's ok.."
Satoshi jumped down off the ladder after he closed the door.He walked over to Kazumi"Hey,how come you never told me about this place?"
Kazumi hit Satoshi on the top of his head with his cane"Because,its only used in emergencies"He chuckled to himself as he rubbed his face
Satoshi glared at him as he rubbed is head after being hit"Sure"He shook his head then looked into the darkness of the tunnel ahead of them
Makoto's ears and tail dropped as she looked up at Masumi"Do you think Kyo's ok..?"
Masumi wanted to say yes,but she wasn't really sure"I hope so"She looked down at the ground slightly
Ryu walked over to both of them with Tatsuya"Of course she's ok,besides Kyo made a promise to me before she told me to leave."He smiled weakly at them
Kazumi turned around and glanced over at Tatsuya"You all have nothing to worry about.Kyo would never break a promise,even if it meant that she had to go half way around the world just to keep it"He laughed softly as he started to walk further into the tunnel
They all shook thier heads as they followed Kazumi.Once they reached the middle of the tunnel Kazumi stopped and looked back at Satoshi
"Hey old man,why did we stop?"Satoshi placed his hands on his head as he leaned against the wall
Kazumi stared into the darkness of the tunnel before turning to Satoshi"Once you reach the end of the tunnel there should be a doorway to the right.Open the door and go up the stairway,that should take you to a small place in the woods"
Satoshi blinked at him and pushed himself off the wall slightly"Why are you telling me this?You're the one thats leading us out"
Kazumi shook his head alittle"No,you are.I have to wait for those two to come"He smiled at Masumi and the others as he tapped his cane on the ground
Satoshi was about to argue with him until Ryu walked over to Kazumi.He nodded his head then looked over at Satoshi"We don't have time to waste"
Satoshi sighed to himself then nodded his head and began walking with Ryu and the others further into the tunnel
Kazumi stared at them as they disappeared into the darkness.He sighed sitting down on the floor "She'll be here soon"
Kyo had been standing ontop of the tank that Tozawa had gotten out of before.She grinned down at the soldiers as she stood there"I hardly think you guys are putting any effort in it"
Tozawa growled to himself "Shes an even more nuisance then before" He clenched his hand in a fist as he glared at Kyo
Narashi glared his fangs at the soldiers as he walked over to Kyo"So whats your plan master?"His ears twitched slightly
Kyo jumped down from the tank and picked up a gun that one of the soldiers had dropped"First we need a hostage.If I know Tozawa he wouldn't dare have one of his men shoot another.Even if it would help out in a plan"
Narashi shook his head slightly"But your no good with hostages,it would be better to just run through the gap"
She sighed slightly"Alright,we'll do it your way.But next time I'm taking a hostage"She smirked at Narashi slightly
Both Kyo and Narashi ran towards the group of soldiers,Narashi had chosen to run infrount of Kyo so he could stop any of them from pulling thier guns
When they got through the soldiers they ran down the same hallway that Satoshi had took the others down.
Narashi stopped running and kept the soldiers at bay before Kyo reached the door that went down into the tunnel.She tried to pull on it but it had been locked from the bottom
Kyo looked back down the hallway that she had ran in from"Narashi its locked,we have to go out another way!"
Just then Narashi ran towards her,running past her after he glanced at her nodding his head"No time to waste master"He grinned slightly
Kyo blinked and looked down the hallway he had ran in from and saw soldiers running towards her,there were alot more then before.She shook her head and ran after Narashi
They both had reached the dining room,but the table would cut back on thier time if they went around it.So Kyo jumped on it and ran as Narashi went under
The table was really long and still had food on it,Kyo jumped down from the table when it ended and ran side by side with Narashi
Kyo glanced over at Narashi as she ran"You were planning on leaving me!?"She looked to her side slightly
Narashi grinned at her"Never master,just seeing how well your reaction skills were"
She laughed softly"Well we'll both see,theres a wall ahead of us,You go out the left window I'll go out the right"
They both nodded their heads as they ran into the other room,like Kyo said there was a wall as soon as you walked in.Narashi ran to the left and Kyo ran to the right,they both jumped out of the window landing outside on the grass.
Kyo and Narashi didn't stop running until they met up with each other on the side of the house."Nice job"She smiled down at him
Narashi smiled back"Same here"He grinned alittle then looked back after his ears twitched"Its only a matter of time until they find us here"
She nodded her head"You're right"They both ran off into the woods.Getting away before the soldiers started to come out of the windows
