So I went to see 'The Tale of Despereaux' movie.
If I look at it as just a movie, its good. 3nodding
But in comparison to the book... Its like comparing a gray moth to a multicolored butterfly (butterfly being the book). The characters were not fully themselves in the movie (excpept for Mig, but she's a hard character to mess up). And the storyline wasn't all that close either.... emo
I'll admit, I'm a bit biased. I love the book. And while its not as happy-cheery as the movie, its still better. heart
