I've been reading an article on www.androidworld.com about how androids are going to be able to help us with our simple mudane jobs and duties. Therfore, making us more lazy than we already are. They are already releasing some and one that is common with the states now is the PaPeRo. Which they are now selling in stores. Another popular model is the Actdroid, in japan. The Actdroid has the ability to respond in perfect voice tones and can speak in four different languages. The actdroid also can make facial expressions and she looks just like a real human being. Which is pretty cool.
They are also discussing how we are planning on making a shield out of thin tin foil used from space. Of course NASA is creating a droid to send up into space since it is very difficult for humans to surfive up there. The reason why they are creating a sheild is to protect us from global warming. The sheild will not be placed on Earth itself but rather on the moon. And who do you suppose will put it there, the androids of course.
The price of common androids used around the house and work, ect, will cost that of a car or possibly even more for custome made purposes. I'll have more info later. And images
