but the problem is they can't cut themselves

much like the crumbling of my soul
each little crumb of life disappearing into obliteration

- Cookies are like my style
black dots for my eyeliner.
but as soon as i waste my life sitting in this jar
I begin to rot.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, your soul; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar and your purest love (black though it may be) until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in milk, vanilla, and your blood. Gradually mix in the sifted ingredients until well blended. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the chocolate chips. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls, and place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets; flatten slightly.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Now eat your cookies.

With my heart in a mix
Of flour and cinnamon sticks
I weep.
No longer may I live the highlife,
So I shaped my dough into a knife
Tonight my wrists are the opened door
For my pulse to escape
And beat no more
I lived by the cookie,
And now I die by the cookie
