Both panting, the impotent weapons were cast aside, as the paladins armour dissipated, bursting into a plethora of light specks, looking like stars were showering from his body, as Fallen would then do the same, but the tendrils of smoke–like shadow would drift towards Angelus, disappearing to within him.
Through the time he had been here almost all of it had been spent training, only sleeping and eating when he had to for strength, he didn’t have the time for feasting like the other residents of the halls who prepared for Ragnarok. Through this training, though physically he looked no different, he now carried himself with an air of confidence, and now even at rest he seemed to have an aura around him that would exuded power.
Making his way through the halls where the other warriors rested and feasted, he once again entered Thor's chambers, looking up at the great man, and without speaking, he would nod assent.
Stooping down, Thor would lift a leather bag and throw it to Angelus, then folding his arms and looking down at him. as he watched the paladin turn and leave with the satchel.
Making his way through the hall again, this time he would make his way towards the largest pair of doors, those he first remembered being at when he arrived here, and those that he would now leave by. As he donned the satchel, he noted it was entirely made from leather and fabrics; an obvious move as metal fittings would just become corrupted.
With a hefty push the doors swung open, showing a scope of clouds before him, stretching as far as the eye could see. Setting one foot forwards his large frame began to tilt towards the clouds, and then he fell, the white masses being buffeted apart as he plummeted between them, his coat flapping loudly as wind assaulted him during his descent. the ground below coming ever closer, just as light began to pour from his back, feathers flowing out from those two points.

A light suddenly appeared in the sky, streaking towards the ground almost like a comet, though a large pair of feathered shapes would suddenly unfold from it shortly before it reached the ground, though there would still be a large thud and a minor tremor running through the ground, as tht shape of light impacted in a crater, pure white feathers scattering everywhere.
As the paladin rose to his full height from within the crater, he quickly scanned the area to check for people, and then went to work, walkign over to the arrangement of swords. They all remained where they had been left, embedded into the ground during his attempt to finish Arcanjelo, though now he pulled them from the earth one by one. As he did so each would shine with a bright blue light as they contacted themselves into their pendant form, each being pocketed.
Searching around, he would finally spot Balmung embedded into the side of a building, this blade not being where he had left it. Pulling this free and finally sheathing it he smiled, for he knew only one person who could have done it, though his family would have to wait, for he had to complete his task now, and then he would have all the time he needed.
Closing his eyes, the strewn pieces of mythrill armour now began to shift, some clattering here and there, as the stones set into them tore themselves free, all suddenly shooting towards Angelus and orbiting him before they would gather and pile int his palm. These would also be slid into a pouch.
Standing there for a second, his errands here were now done, and he took a deep breath. With a flash his left eye became red, and then looking down at his shadow he allowed himself to fall forwards towards it, looking as if he were going to fall flat on the floor. Though as he did, he passed completely through it, descending through the shadow planes to his destination.
