So, you're probably wondering exactly where Lord Avondale, Nogard, Tikki, Ikkit, and Toshi came from since all this hoopala started a few weeks ago. Well, here's what Lord Avondale told me.
Nogard and I were fraternal twins that shared the same egg. As time wore on, Nogard proved to be the weaker twin and I absorbed her into me--as creepy and nasty as that sounds it's true.
When I was a hatchling, Nogard made her presence well known since she always showed up whenever I was highly stressed--and all hatchlings are highly stressed when trying to learn how to fly, fight, cast spells, and use whatever breath weapon their clan inherited. My parents grew concerned by this and highered Lord Avondale to school me.
Lord Avondale is a mighty dragon teacher--the best there is. Under his guidance, I learned to control Nogard and keep her locked away. Occasionally she breaks free and causes mayhem and grief, but rarely more than a week. Once I get her back under control, Lord Avondale forces me to go through various rituals--rituals too gruesome for mortals, humans, and basically anyone who isn't a Blue Dragon to hear.
The last time Nogard broke free, Lord Avondale gave me Tikki in hopes of keeping me calm. Anyone who's ever met Tikki knows why Lord Avondale gave me Ikkit--and if you don't, Ikkit is Tikki's opposite and the balance of them kept me balanced. Eventually, to keep me focused on something--another part of my training--Lord Avondale granted me Toshi.
With these three running around with me, Lord Avondale does not have to check in on me so much--what with keeping an eye on his other students--and I'm better able to keep my emotions under control.
