(by intro i mean the first chapter ninja )

R.I.P: Rule in Power.
Chapter one: What Once Was and What Now Is.


At a time that all forgot, a man came to an unknown land with his wife where he found an alter. At this alter he made a wish, he wished that he and his family could live forever without sickness or aging. The man’s wish came true. He and his wife were gifted with everlasting life. The man was crowned king over the land for the great deeds he did; he was a good and fair king. At the beginning of his rule his wife gave birth to six children; the children were gifted with everlasting life as well as powers and great abilities.
The first to be born was Malket, she was gifted with the power over fire, the next was Vanal who controlled ice, after him was Athaleous who’s power was life and healing, next was Skullond who controlled death and all of its tortures and pleasures, next after him was Karen who controlled darkness and was able to use it to travel through the shadows, and then Jazalin was born who could control light and use it to give her great speed. The six children cared for their parents and each other very much, this time of peace was known as the Millennia.
The children used their powers for the good of the kingdom. Malket used her powers to create machines of wonder powered by her fire, Vanal used his power to give the people water in the desert and construct great buildings in the mountains, Athaleous used his to cure the sick and create food by forcing trees to grow with his control over life, Skullond used his to bring a work force of the dead that had died there years before the king arrived, Karen used her power to help move things quicker through the shadows and over see all production over the land, Jazalin used her speed to help get things from place to place quicker also and used her light to light the people’s path at night. No one died in that time . . . until one night.
Large beasts known as dragons came to the land, they destroyed and killed; not even a person who controlled life could bring someone back from the dead. So the children had no choice but to fight. The children made weapons for themselves by order of their father. Malket made a whip of fire that could burn all in her path, Vanal made a sickle of unmeltable ice which could slice through those which wished to hurt those he cared for, Athaleous made a large sword which would bring life to his people and take it away from those who threaten them, Skullond made a large hammer which would desolate those who dare face him and his might, Karen made two gauntlets which had blades on them that would slice through those who tried to lighten her darkness, and Jazalin forged a spear that’s light would shine like no other.
The children fought off the beasts and killed all but one; which Skullond took for himself. He studied it and befriended it, he was amazed at its power and the way it made the people fear it . . . he wanted the power to make all that he seen die in fear . . . he wanted the eyes of a dragon. Skullond went to the alter where his father went before him and asked for the power. He received that great power, but at a price.
It was then his mother grew ill and died some how, and their father lost all hope in the land and his life then vanished. The other children found out about Skullonds visit to the alter; three of the children thought it was his fault that these terrible things kept happening and fought with him about it, the other two, Malket and Karen, joined with Skullond saying it wasn’t his fault. Before their father vanished he gave his children land they each could rule over in his absence which gave the children resources and the ability to build upon; it was the biggest mistake any one could ever make.

Present day; six thousand years after the king vanished. The land is split down the middle by a large desert, on one side is the Land of the Living Light were Lord Athaleous, Lady Jazalin, and Lord Vanal call home the other is the Land of the Dying Darkness which is where Lord Skullond, Lady Karen, and Lady Malket keep to themselves. The now grown children are constantly at war with the other side and are always trying to kill the other siblings. But its time some one changes the way this war is going and there are plans to do so. It is now time to see who will Rule in Power!
