Korengal Valley
1400 hours

....Charlie squad, after its success in Fallujah, have been moved to Korengal Vally, to help quell Taliban activity. So far, they have cleared a small mountain village, but have come under attack by Taliban forces. They are pinned inside the village complex, and the Stryker Light Assault Vehicle that they have called in for their support, is being prepped for deployment to their area. They now have to sit tight and wait, hoping the Taliban don't grab the nerve to advance on their position.

Marcus sits under a window, checking his MP5 RAS. Stuart is at the door, barricading it so they don't have easy access. Augustus peers out the window, using his newly attached scope on his M416. Julius pops a couple rounds at a near ridge, where they last saw Taliban activity. Justin double checks his medical supplies, and looks around.

"Think they've left?" Justin whisper's, pulling his stolen AK-74 in case any heard. Light footsteps can be heard outside. "Guess not" he says. He and the other squad members go to the windows and look around.

Then the explosive rip of an RPG rocket going off completely broke the silence. As they poured it, Marcus was able to pick off at least 2. They start to round the house, popping shots as they round the windows.

"Justin, pop a grenade in the hole they made. we'll switch windows. Stuart, throw some flashbangs out there. The rest of you keep watch!"

They rush to comply with orders. As Justin throws his grenade, it hits a Taliban fighter square between the eyes, and he falls back shortly before the grenade goes off. Justin laughs, saying "Right between the eyes!"

As they fend off off each attacker, a fighter with an RPG pops through the hole. Marcus yells, "You've gotta be effin kidding....." But as he fires, the rocket blows up, not even leaving the launcher. Then they realize that wasn't him, it was a LAW fired from the reinforcements storming through the hole.

"Thank Jesus for that one boys. we owe ya!" Marcus exclaims, as he busts open the door out of the house. He and Charlie squad were able to clear out the resistance around the village, and were picked up by a Little bird shortly afterward....
