The man without a face, knows that beauty is a lie...,
The strangers beady gaze,
and the vultures evil eye
Only faceless men are beautiful
How cruel that he can't see?
Punishment carried so dutiful...-
The man we wish to be
Without eyes he sees-
But we envy his blindness.
He bares the world on his shoulders-
and treats each of us with kindness.
Perhaps we should try to wear his faceless mask...-
to lesson the burden we've bestowed,
and join in his selfless task.
