i was reading a book, called A Celebration Of Young Poets, and i was just skimming through it, until i found this poem.
Until
Until you loved me, I did not care
Until you held me, I thought life unfair
Until we parted, I didn't know what I'd miss
Until my sorrows were broken, I didn't long for your kiss
Until I knew forever was final, I wanted more
Until I listened, I wanted to force you out the door
Until you fought, I thought the fight was over
Until our eyes met, I thought magic was only four-leaf clovers
Until our first hello, I knew there was nothing to wait for
Until that talk, I didn't know what was in store
Until you offered safety, I had nowhere to go
Until that shout, I never thought I'd sink so low
Until the apology, I thought we were through
Until you said good-bye I never thought, maybe, you needed love, too
