So this journal has the same format... for how long? >< I feel almost as if I need to change it, but... to what? I dunno, I just love red 'n black so much.
First: I hate the month of March. It's not the month's fault, but I simply can't help it.
Lemme see... lately I've been reading or watching a lot of manga/anime. First was Elfen Lied, which I'd heard was like porn because of so much nudity. I see the point that the person had, but, I also feel that the anime was unreasonably labeled. The only reason that the girls in the show were naked is because if someone gets close to them, that person dies. It's true that the opening animation has nudity, but... I dunno, I think it looks pretty. -shrugs-
Most of all there was a lot of blood. Lots and lots of blood. Even for me the first episode was hard to take, but after that the amount of blood was easier to take. It was a very good anime in my opinion... had the right amount of action and had some good tragedy, too. I finished it quickly and the anime has stayed with me. Not to mention that the opening song, Lilium, is so beautiful. ;A; I didn't particularly like the ending theme. I really only saw like the first three seconds, though. The song is just unappealing to me. xDD
Just before that I'd watched xxxHolic and fell quite a bit in love. That anime is ooooh~ It does the creepy and mysterious stuff right. It's not gory but it definitely puts a chill up my spine. The animation isn't realistic (arms bend where there aren't joints xDD) but it's still pretty and the outfits are quite oo lala~ x3
Then I tried to watch Ikki Tousen. I watched the first episode and quite frankly, it's a piece of crap. |: It's just disgusting and it made me sick. I really wish that they hadn't used the Three Kingdoms as part of the storyline because quite frankly, that era and the people in it deserve more respect than to be used for a piece of porn.
Then I turned to manga and got obsessed with Katekyo Hitman Reborn! At first I just read it because it amused me, but after like... chapter thirty or forty the anime turned into epic s**t and I just... I LOVE YOU KATEKYO HITMAN REBORN! TTTOTTT Uuuugh, it's just flat-out awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone who's trying to find a new series to start on. And Gokudera is my favorite character- he's a teenage boy who uses dynamite to fight. Dynamite. He's... he's just a giant pile of epic win. ~<3
I'm not sure what else I should get into next. Maybe I won't dive into another series, but we'll see. I need to put some more spit and shine on my own comic. I actually drew a page but am feeling quite unsatisfied with it. It looks good, but it's so... it feels like it needs more. I really do hate it when online comics use up an entire page to show ONE DAMN THING when that single thing doesn't really deserve the entire freaking page. That's how I'm feeling now, but... I don't know what to put into it.... >< I might make up for it by using PhotoShop to just stick two pages together and make it a really long page. I guess we'll just have to see. I need to draw more pages and work on the project a bit more....
Hmm, hmm. I guess that's all I have to say... oh. And TeamFourStar on YouTube = EPIC WIN
