Trying to draw Princess Sally Acorn
Okay, today I was in a drawing mood. But, I haven't really drawn anything since about 5 to 6 months ago, so I was kinda rusty.
So, I got out our collection of all the Sonic SatAM episodes that are on DVD and started watching some of them. I got to the one episode about Sonic and some other Freedom Fighters going to find some kinda Secret Scrolls, so secret that no one had found them and that apparently I can't spell without spellchecker. When they're going to the mountain to find the scrolls, Sonic doesn't wanna go on the plane, so he just follows them on the ground. But, at the end, when they're leaving, Sonic says he'll come under one condition, that he gets to fly the plane, and when he says this Antoine (the scaredy cat of the group) freaks out and Sally gets this awesome expression on her face. So, I tried to draw that.
I got it pretty right, the only problem being that the proportions are a bit off, and I am having issues drawing the eyes. Usually I have the most trouble drawing hands, but the eyes managed to be pretty hard, I couldn't really draw them without Sally looking like some kinda zombie. So, if you have advice for drawing facial expressions, let me know.
