Okay, so. While we live in Navy base housing and have 3 bedrooms, the rooms are still on the smaller side of medium.
Allie's got a dresser in her room but it's broken and doesn't hold anything in the drawers. It just holds her lamp and stereo on top. So, I decided that I wasn't going to deal with dressers anymore for the kids.
Most of her things hang anyway except for pants and pajamas so I got some closet storage and a back of the door hanger storage thing and I love them! I definitely say that they're for anyone short on space!
I've tacked in some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about. Allie's got two closet hangers; one for pants, one for pajamas. The baby only has one for now but we're going to get another 2 of them so we can put shirts/onesies in one, pants in the next, and pajamas in the third. It's really good for baby Elephant since not a lot of his/her things can really be hung up.
I really love these because they've got 6 cardboard-enforced shelves per thing. They wrap & Velcro around the bar in the closet. The 6 shelves means I can organize everything by size. If you pregnant ladies don't know it yet, keeping things sorted by size can be annoying. You can even use these to sort things of the same size by pants, shirts, onesies, hats, sleepwear, etc.
The ones that hang on the back of the door are also great too! The ones I got have 40 pockets but that's because I wanted ones with mesh pockets rather than the plastic ones. I store socks, shoes, mittens, hats, lotions, etc in these.
Excuse the blurryness of this picture. My camera uploaded the bad picture instead of the clear one.
