Went to the first day of my preservation workshop. It's pretty good. But I don't understand why there's so much work for a two-day one-credit non-graded workshop. Learned some good stuff, though. I wish she would have thought about parking passes BEFORE taking us on a "field trip" over to the library, but meh. I still think tech services would be my ideal job, but I wouldn't mind doing a little preservation work. Flood recovery sounds awful, though.
My sister's boyfriend came down, and we went over to my grandparents' house to celebrate my sister's, aunt's, and my birthdays - spaghetti, cake, ice cream, stories, and never-ending goodbyes.
