ouchouchouchouchouchouch!!!!!! my eye hurts!!!!
in other news, i'm ticked off and worried because i know that if i get any Cs on my report card (which is likely to happen) i'll have to start going home to do my homework again!!! and, really, i think i do more homework when i go somewhere where someone makes sure i do it. i've also got a new system, but it's not like my mom will listen to me. it's also not like the very short amount of time i've been carrying out this system for has improved my grades yet, considering that the planning period ended before i came up with it! so, i'm upset.
although i had fun today, at the J-kon, life hasn't been running too smoothly. i mean, i myself admit that my bad grades are mostly my fault, but i still figured that going a level of difficulty lower in math and science (my least favorite subjects) would help some. why am i in honors if i neither like or am good at either. i don't care for a future in either, and i don't even think the levels they teach now are any bit useful past getting into college. even so, my parents were all "oah, we're so dissapointed in you for lowering your standards and all." seriously! just because i rule at english and literature (except for this year, since this particular teacher is a scream ) doesn't mean that i'll be good at everything. also, they were all upset because i was signing up to take latin next year instead of german. "you can't even really use latin for anything! take something else!" well, i'm sorry! i'm not taking a foreign language because i want to learn it! i'm taking it because it's necessary for my graduation, and i need at least three years of one to get into the good colleges, and to apply for tops and what not! any type of scholarship is worth shooting for. other than that, i don't give a crap about any stinkin foreign language! i live in america and plan on staying here. and, if i have the itch to learn german, my dad and brother can teach me.
then, let's not forget J-kon, which, although fun, was very badly run. without any warning, they decided that all the food was to be, not free, but fee'd. also, the entry fee changed from one price to another all throughout the day. the librarians chewed poor jenny out for having signs and whatnot. and, to make things worse, fluffy decided that he didn't really want us all to watch the godzilla movies we ran to go get. instead, he clicked on a yaoi! do you have any idea how much trouble i would get in if someone thought i had watched something like that? i'm surprised the librarian didn't come in with all the commotion it stirred up! i mean, i was all the way in the bathroom and i could hear them whooping and hollering! i came back thinking someone was hurt or something. thank the lord my linh came shortly after the ruckus, or i might not have gotten out of there on time. and i took my godzilla with me (and with our small crowd and lots of the food leaving, we took a good deal of the rest of the party too). for the record, no form of hentai is okay in my mind, and, even if my linh hadn't come, i would've found a way out of there if i had to walk home.
i do hope things look up....
