Brief History
Lai-ching was born in Taipei to wealthy parents. Not long after her brother was born, her parents died in an accident and the two children were sent to live with their aunt who lived close by. Their aunt was hardly ever around, so they were taught from a young age to fend for themselves. After she graduated from highschool, she entered an art institute, where she learned general design. After the two-year venture in college, she opened her own jewelry boutique called Shimmer. She designs, creates, and models for her own line. She takes care of her brother, although he finds her to be quite bothersome because she is overprotective.
