Slight DelayBecause I couldn't go to the comic book store yesterday like I normally do, on account of me working, I decided to go today. I hit the ususal spots. First, I went to Toys R Us. Nothing much there except a sale on the TF Cybertron Leader Class figures. Getting Megatron for $29.99 was tempting, but I'm holding out for the better look on Galvatron.
My next stop was Traget. I managed to find the recolored Mini-con Street Speed team they released for the Cybertron line there and a good thing too. I've been looking for Mini-cons for my recent perchases of Cybertron Blurr and Longrack. I picked up a few dryer sheet for my dry cleaning while I was at it. I went to look in Walmart and for the third week straight they had noting Transformers on the J-Hooks. I killed time in their arts and craft aisles till the comic book store opened.
I went to the comic book store around 12:00 when it opened. I picked up what they had left of the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball figures for a friend of mine. I asked for the box of G1 Transformers so I could pick up the Micromaster Air Strike Patrol that I overlooked last time. They brought one box I expected, but they also had another box I didn't see before. It contained a Sixshot, an incomplete Metroplex (missing Scamper as far as I could tell), a broken Omega Supreme, and an Ultra Magnus. I was surprised to see Ultra Magnus was priced at $12. Besides a lot of wear and yellowing of the plastic, it and had most of the accessories I was missing on mine. I bought that for parts and the Micromasters I initaly intended to get. I can get Scamper from another source so I'll save Metroplex for after the holidays. More delays, but I had groceries to buy also.
