The spindle of Sunset begins to unravel. Hues of midnight purple, heart-felt pinks, and velvety blue slowly fade, taking the last broken shards of light with them. It grows as more f its kind invade the sky and finally the pure white of the first star is seen. Hundreds of thousands of these glittering jewels fill the sky with their diamond light. The Moon rises in its cold glory, a white scarred disk that has seen everything and watched all. It is the ivory mother of the sky who holds the keys of mystery and magic in her hands. Oh Blessed Night! yOu are cold and yet bring warm feelings to all in their beds when they sleep. You bring dreas and nightmares, inspiration and dispiritation to lowly commoner and grand king alike.
