It was a cold north wind what whistled and moaned as it whipped across the grass of the old cometary, the storm was blowing in bringing the heavy scent of rain, the low roar of thunder and the flash of lightening to the city. It was something that would be welcomed to the inhabitants, something that would not strike fear. Owen had erased from the human mind the idea violent storms brought bad tidings. He had wiped out all their fear. The wind began to howl as it gained strength, the thunder rolled and the lightning flashed as the rain began to pour.
Out amongst the unmarked graves, each set in there pairs there was one lone one. None of them had been given much honor, just a pathetic built coffin, buried in a deep grave with a stone unwritten on and merely just tossed at the head of the grave. But this one had not been even paid attention by those who even looked at the unmarked graves as it was not paired like the others. There was even an obvious trail where the groundskeeper had walked over it. No one had cared, and no one ever would. However tonight below the earth just beneath stone something stirred. There was a low rumble as thunder rolled and lightening struck violently on the stone, scorching the large boulder, splitting it in two. In that moment, below the ground, within the poorly built wooden coffin mismatch green eyes snapped open, wolf ears flicked slowly. One had been eaten through by a maggot, and his skin that had once been tanned was a ghostly white. A pain shot through his chest as his heart that had ceased beating centuries ago started with a violent lurch. Blood that had started to rot and dry up slowly started to flow through his veins. As his body slowly carefully began to work once more his thought process came about, a growl thundering from his throat, rage and anger coursing through, him turning the blood black with the emotions he'd begun to feel finally. He had stopped counting years, stopped even focusing on his torment. He'd hardened his heart as he had when he was alive, not single emotion showing or coming through him. But as his body began to relive his last moments before he'd fallen into that frozen sleep rage had pumped into his body. His last thought ran rampant in his brain.
Protect your pup you fool! MOVE!
There had been a searing pain as he moved his body to cover Len and the child and then nothing for some time. Soon after that he fell into a pit of flames and all he could remember from that was pain and torture. Eventually it was mindless thing he endured without even caring. No torment could have been worse then realizing he could no longer protect his lover and their son. That he had broken his promise to always protect them.
He started up for a long moment up at the coffin lid, trying to think what he was supposed to do, all he remembered was walking down a black tunnel, sensing Korua, seeing his brother and then waking up here. It took a good ten minutes for him to even realize what was going on. Then all he wanted was food, anything that would shut up his growling stomach and the pain in his body. Slowly he realized he would have to claw his way out of this grave. In this cramped stale space he didn't have much room but it didn't matter he brought his elbow up and began to slam it up against the coffin lid. Despite how weak he was it took only one hit for the massive male to break the wood. Maybe because not all his muscle had deteriorated or maybe because the wood was so weak. He growled as the dirt began to pour in and just started clawing and fighting against the massive amounts of dirt pouring in. Finally, after he wasn't sure how long he slowly managed to free himself, all six feet eleven inches of his massive form from his own grave. He collapsed on the ground, face first in the mud, just laying there, the rain pouring down on him. His trench coat had saved the rest of his clothing from falling apart completely. His combat boots were rotted away but his body in tact, thin and pale for him but intact. He lay there until he heard the footsteps of someone. Ears flicked, nose lifted. Human. His mind hit an animalistic instinct and he flung himself from the ground and atop the grounds keeper. Before the man could think to try and call for help or grab his radio the jaws of the wolf demon had sunk into his kill and he snapped his neck. He spent almost an hour devouring his kill, cleaning the entire skeleton of everything, leaving only bone and clothing. Wild gaze was lifted and a piercing, demonic howl filled night, the thunder clashing around him as he sat the, rage in his good eye. Oh he remembered everything now and they would pay, oh he'd rip those little pathetic humans to pieces. But for now he just needed to figure out his surroundings. As his stomach's hunger finally faded his expression went blank, not a emotion upon it as he slowly stood. His clothing and face were caked in blood and dirt. With a meal in his stomach his body was slowly regaining what it once had been. A massive frame, packed with muscle, lean, tall and powerful. His hands came up slowly and his brushed the dirt from his thick black hair. He shook his head slowly and glanced around and started to walk, a long lengthy and feral stride that no human could ever carry. His black wolf ears twitched as he quickly found the road. He continued to walk until he found a car stopped at a stoplight, a Black GT500KR Super Snake. In fact he could have sworn it had once belonged to him. It was an ancient vehicle and he smirked as he walked around to the drivers side and opened the door, looking down at the guard.
I want my car back
He said, deep emotionless tones booming out, horribly scratchy from years of not using them. The driver in the car went pale as a ghost and slowly reached for his gun.
Don't do that
The man went to grab the gun.
Dammit, I told you not to
He grabbed the man out by the neck and slammed him into the hood of an oncoming truck. Horns from oncoming cars blared and people started yelling, others on a sidewalks started to stare. He glanced at one human who was wearing a rather nice pair of combat boots and a trench coat. He smirked and started towards him and grabbed him up.
I want the boots and the coat...
The man stared and shook his head. Spike growled something horrible and the man seemed to freeze, fear seemed to suddenly wash over the crowd. The man shucked off the shoes and trench coat. Spike picked them up and dropped the man.
Don't forget to tell your friends now.
He said in sarcastic boredom. A habit he'd rid himself of after he'd met Lenora. But he was sure she was dead, at this thought he shoved it aside, sadness taking over his mind but his expression did not show it. He walked back to the car and pulled on the new boots, tossed the completely ripped coat on the ground and pulled on the new one. He rather quickly checked for his .9mm and was not surprised to find it was still place between his back and his pants. He laughed, something that was merely an action and meant absolutely nothing. He closed the door on the car and revved the engine before letting it take off. He laughed, he had always liked this car. He glanced down at the radio that was sitting there, they'd attached it to the car so the guard could contact his higher ups. He grabbed it and pressed the button.
Be nice and tell Caleb I took the GT500KR back will you.
He dropped the mic and then ripped the thing out and toss it out the open sunroof.
He drove around the city for an hour before he found some backstreet bar, a little hole in the wall. He cut the engine outside, locked it up and walked inside, taking a seat at a back table, putting his feet up on the table, despite the stares. Many mumbled about his height and the ears and the fact he had a weapon but he didn't care he just sat back and watched.
