Novella noticed Lavi looking at her. She arched her perfectly formed eyebrow. "What?" She asked. Lavi shoke his head and hid a grin. "Nothing." He said.
Novella knew he was lying but let it drop. She pushed her bangs off to the side and she looked at least two years older. "How old are you Novella?" Asked Koumi with a clipboard in hand. "Sixteen." She said leaning on the bed.
Lavi thought she was his age. He thought by the way she acted, they way she talked to people, the way she looked she couldn't have been a day older than he was. Koumi nodded. "We'll teach you how to use your Innocence in a few weeks. Decide what weapon you want." Said Koumi leaving. Novella only nodded. A few strands of her hair fell around her angled face. Her eyes were big and bright. Lavi toke in all of this. He scolded himself. What would Bookman think of him like this?
But maybe he stopped caring what Bookman thought.
Novella got off the bed. Her stomach gave a loud growl. "Let's go eat." Said Lavi. Novella nodded and got off the bed. She walked over her ponytail slightly bouncing.
Lavi blushed and looked away. He lead the way out the door and a few finders starred at the girl. She had a hard expression on her face. She had taken a liking to the red headed boy.
