Okay, When I first came to Gaia and was a poor lost n00b with no idea how to roleplay, I joined two, a futuristic one with a hospital that was genetically engineering children and adults. I played a girl named Aubina Son, as that was my user name then, I had no special powers I just couldn't remember my past/childhood/etc. Aubina was a gifted hacker and a wiz with the quarterstaff. Unfortunately soon after I joined that RP I was grounded for a month and by the time I could be online again the RP had increased by 300 or so pages and there was no longer room for the lost girl without a past.
The second one was a boarding school RP. I joined it in order to make new friends. My name was still Aubina, I was still a wiz with the quarterstaff I just also had some powers, teleportation for the most part. I liked this RP, but it died as things like that are warrent to do.
Now here I am, looking for another good school Rp, maybe something like the first one I joined and I find things like this: Shcool for the beautifuland popular.
And the inside is worse.
How 'bout a school for spelling and grammer. A school for the moderately talented RP-er. I don't think I'm that great an RP-er, it was only recently that I stopped using *s to show actions, and I credit that to Dimension Hoppers and the RP-ers there.
Is it too much to ask for a school RP to have good grammer and spelling, and maybe a plot besides the standard, school for gifted teens, will you save the world or destroy it?
I'm pretty sure that this is incoherent to many of you. But I am dissapointed in what's available out there. I belong to a few good RP's but they're dying, because intelligent people have trouble finding them among the surrounding garbage, and because people can't read the rules put down by the creators.
Please, oh please, give me hope for the world.
