I'm thinking forward to summer.

Yesterday my mom, dad and i put our hands on Maxie and prayed for her. She's not better yet but we're still praying for a miracle. I have to just face the fact that dogs may live only 7 or 8 years, even thugh it seems like we got her just yesterday. I love Maxie so much and she brings so much joy to our family. If we don't get the miracle we're praying for, I hope she dies happy and peacefully. We're getting a family picture with her on Sunday just in case. My mom called the photographer and when she said she had no openings on Sunday mom started crying... so we got an appointment anyway. Maxie is her bestfriend and she calls her her third child. I trust that if Maxie dies she'll be up in heaven. There is no way a dog could cause a family so much joy and not be up there. Anyway I love her so much but I just have to face the fact that this could be real and this could be happening and that means I'm going to have to pay attention more to Maxie and make her happy. The last thing she'd probably do is make us unhappy.
