The group of people that organized the Tsubasacon in Charleston, West Virginia are a bunch of idiots and losers. I asked them on one of their forums if I could go to the Con and get people who are Charter subscribers to sign a petition to get tte Anime Channel on the air. They told me it was more advantageous to go to Anime Channel's site and sign up that way. I called Charter to ask them how I had to go about asking for that channel. The Charter rep told me that whenever someone requests for a channel that they do not have then the subscriber has to get the rep to send a request form. If the subscriber goes to a secondary channel, that channel has to wait until there is a certain number (ie 150, 250 500 etc.) is reached before the contact the cable company. I asked if a petition would help speed up the process and the rep and his manager both said yes. I again asked the oragnizers of the Con to see if they would allow me to wander around just getting signatures and phone numbers (for subscriber id use) from Charter subscribers and they told me not to waste my time and go the the Anime Channel again. sad Oh well I guess. It looks like Charter subscribers will be one of the last groups to get tte Anime Channel.
