The title says it!! READ THE FREAKING TITLE!!!! READ IT!!!!! XD (fake anger!)
A roleplay forum idea
So, I has RP idea. Not gonna make a thread for this, probably.

June 15, 2028. Journal of Commander Lucas Tirylett
This war, it has been going on for around nineteen years . . . I can feel myself getting weaker, but smarter, with each passing year. I can't take much more of this. My troops can't either. Save for the robotic ones, of course . . .
I think I'm slowly going insane as well . . . Just yesterday, a wolf talked to me. A WOLF. How the hell is that even possible?! Some troops suggested my mind has been affected by all the radiation from the nukes that have been dropped. I doubt that, though, my battle plans have only gotten steadily better.

June 16, 2028.
Turns out I'm infected with a nearly harmless amount of radiation, or, that's what our AI medics told me. I don't know if that's bad or not, but I think I should take a few days to rest, just to be safe. I hope we aren't ambushed or anything . ..

June 19, 2028.
My troops have been telling me I look different, younger. After several hours of searching a recently evacuated town, I finally found a mirror.
I . . . I look thirty again . . . I FEEL thirty again . . . I'm 45 years old, how is this possible? You can't age backwards, it defies all the common laws of physics. Yet, I can see it with my own eyes. I know that I'm not dreaming, I've tested several times by cutting my wrist and other methods of causing myself pain.
But . . . How is this possible? I'm not complaining, but I'm a little scared.

June 20, 2028.
. . . All I have to write is that the AI medics think I'm thirty. Could I have misheard them? No, I'm sure I didn't. I also remember them nearly exploding trying to calculate how it was possible with their records of me. Same DNA, different age . . .

July 1, 2028.
One of my men recently woke up in the middle of the night, here's his EXACT quote
"Sir, were you ever up last night? I saw a wolf in your bed. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm not lying. There was a wolf. In your bed."
Reluctantly, I sent him to a shelter for those who cannot fight in the war.
. . . Why am I craving steak all of a sudden? I'm a vegetarian . . .

July 4, 2028.
We won a great victory today, and on independence day too, go figure. And I found another mirror.
I . . . I . . . I'm sixteen years old . . . And my troops haven't said a word . . . Are they afraid I'll do the same to them as I did to that other soldier?
Not only am I aging backwards, but I seem to like staying up late as well. I haven't slept in two days, but I'm not tired.

July 17/18, 2028. Last entry before he was shot and killed.
I haven't slept at all, it's midnight right now, and one of the troops, John, also known as Flame, just woke up, and is looking at his arm in an odd way.
He called me over, and there are scales on his arm. Blue scales. And his eyes have changed from their normal brown . . . To a bright red. I think I really am dreaming.

Years have passed since the first 'mutations' from the radiation. They were slow at first, only appearing in one person out of a thousand, but then there came that one day.
That one day of hell, that had an aftereffect that has lasted for thirty years so far.
Three countries decided to team up and unleash a rain of nuclear bombs upon all the other countries. The effect was devastating. Most of the people who survived were effected by the huge amount of radiation, and either mutated into grotesque blobs and died . . .
Or were lucky enough to become creatures only seen and heard of in myths.
Ordinary humans became elves, half-dragons, dwarfs, shape-shifters, werewolves, vampires, demonic looking beings, and many more.
But humans weren't the only ones affected. Animals and machinery were too.
Only one percent of the animals did the whole blob thing, but the other ninety nine percent . . . Well, lets just say dragons now roam the Earth, along with giant frogs, dire wolves, gryphons, and very VERY intelligent forms of the animals. Like talking wolves.
The AI, or artificial intelligence, and the very few cyborgs which had been in testing, had their circuits fried by the radiation for the most part . . . Or, like the organics, they experienced insanely good mutations. The cyborgs mainly became part mythical beast, part robot. The AI became smarter, capable of emotion, they didn't obey humans anymore.
They wouldn't turn off either.
They became almost human. Only their metallic bodies separated them from actual humans.
Many of the intelligent species tried to rebuild the world, others tried to keep it in chaos, and a few others didn't care at all.
Now, will you choose to turn this hell into heaven? Or will you fight against the greater good? Or . . . Will you simply try to survive?

So, what do you think? A good storyline? Or no?

Updates: Added robotic stuff at Toxias' suggestion. And at the same time added more to the journal and storyline that didn't involve robots.

I think your roleplay would hit off nicely. :3

One thing wrong with it; since the war started in 2009 and has been going on for thirty years, how does the story from 2028 fit into the RP at all?
