The Rantings Of an Author
Salvation
As I stood out in the rain, holding everything I held dear in my arms. Silence irrupted like a stake through the heart as the rain just kept pouring onto my body and onto everything I loved with such passion, all I thought was It was never like this, I was never known for this. I gripped onto the sheer clothing that surrounded its body closing my eyes in agony as the cold was quickly setting in, and the street was filled with the bodies of others. Surrounding me like a graveyard, as the lightning gave a strike down onto the ground as the asphalt shattered throwing everything into the air all I could do was cry and hold the dead body in my hands, squeezing it tight on my knees as my body was soaked with the blood of all of the people that died, the rain was no actual rain, as the rise of iron filled the streets the stench was mixed in with water creating such a sickening smell among many other things. No one was left, it was only me, and it was all my fault.

It was my fault that I was on the ground surrounded by the stench wreathe in my stomach, it was my fault that I killed everyone, and everything. It was all my fault. Nothing could prepare me for the deeds that I would pay for in heaven, being sent down into hell to burn in the most inner level to freeze within the arms of the devil himself. As I stood up letting go of the body, blood slowly dripped off my pure white skin, my lips pursed letting in what I have killed, every breathe I took was nothing of a curse to myself. My hair clenched to my face in pure agony, my whole entire body gripping in the great pain that it once knew in the beginning of it all. The street lights slowly went out leaving nothing but the darkness. My feet moved on their own down the street only my eyes guiding me through the pitch black silence. Stepping over the body's, As a small light protruded through the darkness through the gaping hell that was slowly rising from the depths of the ashes of others. As a low bell gave a ringing like a gong throughout the city, as all I could do was look at the light, the beautiful rays of white with a look of beauty about them, like a newborn child, or an angel descending from the heavens to offer a hand I help. It was something more to me, something much more of meaning, it was my way out of what I just created, as my feet drenched with blood, and my pants soaked it up like a sponge, I just kept on walking through the stench, and the overriding thought that it was a trick, as the gong gave another ring the light became wider looking more far away, and as it looked like I had gotten more close, it was just moving away, it was like angels were starting to sing showing me the salvation of a lifetime.
