Once there was a Great Oak Tree,
& When you saw it you would scream.
For this Oak Tree so old,
People thought it would swallow you whole.
But one man that sought this tree,
Seem to want to climb that tree,
So as people started to crowd the tree.
This man was ½ way up the tree,
For as this crowd would stand and stare.
But this man had nothing to fear this tree,
For he knew that it was his death tree.
When this man was out of site,
The people below started to gasp in fright.
But after an hour or two or three,
The crowd at the bottom started to leave.
Because the night had come oh so suddenly,
It was then that the man came out of that tree.
To go back to his house to get a silver brief case you see,
Then before dawn he was back up that tree staring into his destiny.
From in that case came out a .223,
His favorite rifle for sniping the enemy.
The reason he had to climb that tree was to look into a window of a building,
He aimed and pointed threw this window of a building.
On the 6th story of a commercial building,
Then came a man into site threw the scope.
A man large and round stood there unaware,
Of the tragedy that awaited him there.
Then the round man stood up swiftly,
Then man in the tree fired 3 rounds you see.
BANG…BANG…BANG! Came from the tree
And that man crashed out and of the window,
Onto the asphalt that lied beneath.
Then when that ma n in the tree,
Saw what he had done, a great tragedy.
So then this man pulled out his handgun,
BANG…BANG…BANG came out of that tree.
But the man did not fall but lay there dieing slowly,
With his last once of breath he cried to God.
“Forgive me oh lowed for the sin I did,
& Let me come to visit the gate” he pleaded.
For as you read this he lay up that tree,
Waiting on someone with even just an ounce of bravery.
To come save him from that tree,
And still they call it that great oak tree.
