Every year my grandfather hosts a family reunion. In the past a lot of our family came, but the numbers have dwindled. Used to he rented out areally large place, but now he just holds it at the community center because so few people come anymore. (In my opinion the bigger place was kewler and we should still have it there.) Anyhoo, today was this year's reunion and the numbers had gotten even lower. And plus in the past there were a ton of kids that came, butthis year the only kids (anyone under eighteen) were me, my two little 4th cousins Abby Lynn and Maddy, and some Mexican looking kid who's name I don't know. My youngest cousin that came, Maddy, is only one year old and mean as hell. Seriously! She slaps her mom and big sister all the time, she won't let anyone nearher. My 2nd cousin Douglas kept trying to get her to let me pick her up for reasons that I don't fully understand and finally he told me to just do it whether she wanted me to or not. So, I did. As soon as she was in my arms she started crying and so I handed her back to her grandfather, Douglas, while I was saying"Okay, she doesn't like me. Here. Have a child". And do you know what? As soon as she was out of my arms and into his she stopped crying. Like, immediately. So I got shunned by a frickin ONE YEAR OLD! Although her bigger sister Abby Lynn is very sweet. I see no resemblance other than their looks. Stupid one-year-old...
