I woke up to see him at my feet,
I thought it was a real good treat,
Then I saw he was tying his shoe,
Oh,what a silly thing to do.
I giggled and cracked,
He said "Why are you laughing like that?"
I said "Nothing,you?Why are you in my room?"
He said today was special,
A real good beat.
I wonder what awaited
On this day we meet.
We chatted and laughed,
And ran through the grass,
But suddenly,I thought it was
Keen,and I started to lean,
He backed away, and went to get,
The girlfriend I never met.
I started to smile,then to frown,
I ran away and turned around.
I stopped in the street,where we FIRST met,
I started to say,
"I love y---"
Now at my grave he softly cries
The tears running from sad eyes
This hurting guy whose heart is broken
All because of love unspoken.
