Story nine:
I froze in place. I...it just exploded... I couldn't wipe away the look on my face. I could hear my heart raceing and my breathing pick up. I looked up to see the creatures were just as frightened as I was. I raised my hand a little, and they all ran away. Even though they were far away, I could still hear their yelps from where I sat. I looked over at the guy. He was staring at me, frozen in fear with sweat running down his face. His eyes said everything he was thinking. He wanted to run, but his legs were too weak. He wanted to fight, but he had no weapon. He wanted to scream, but he was frozen in fear. I got up and walked over, his eyes on me like a lazer pointer. I picked him up and began to run. I could feel his heart raceing. "Calm down." He lifted his head. "What?"
"Calm down."
Before he could say a word, we had reached an exit. I pushed the doors open. I squinted as I steped out, and then I realized something. I had no idea where I was.
