Hey,

This is a rant of one of the worst TV genres ever. Reality TV. Seriously, most of what they put up on the air that has reality TV attached to it is crap. Don't get me wrong what they put up is usually very addictive but its also mindlessly boring at the same time.

One of the first reality tv programs featured watching a family life. I don't remember the family's name but everything they did was made into a television program. The family started unraveling before the viewers eyes as the husband and wife fought and one of their sons announced he was gay.

It only manages to get worse from that point from watching all this wannabe entertainment.

On an article found online at sidereel (http://www.sidereel.com/_post/160887) they list off some of the shows they would like to see. One of my favorites are:

So You Think You Have Friends: Contestants would be forced to name one relevant, personal piece of information about every single one of their "friends" on Facebook or Myspace. Let's face it, no one would ever win this game.

I should be happy we can put these shows on our airwaves because of the free speech admendment. But that doesn't mean I have to like it.
