Well, I finally got the more specific definition of profitting from a hacking. I apparently bought an expensive/stolen item for 1k. I am trying now to ask what it was and when. Honestly, folks, you think I would not return it at the whopping loss (note sarcasm) of 1k? 1k! I have a lot of legitimate, shiny gold. Whatever it is, PLEASE, for crying out loud, give it back to the owner and unban Tameka!

After some heavy thought (difficult due to a very short memory), I think I may know what item it was. It seems almost impossible since it was just a sealed letter last month. But the seller was selling a lot of expensive things for 1k under the premise that he was leaving Gaia. I thought it odd, but it seems my trusting nature may have been my downfall. Again I say I would have gladly given that back. It's not even that expensive to me; I was freaking out trying to remember when I bought an OMG hat or something for 1k!

Edit: Holy Moses on a pogo stick! It really was that letter! It's almost unbelievable that it could be only that. Many many many profuse thanks to the mods and other users that have helped me finally get the answer. I don't know what I can do with this information, but it's one small step and I'll take it over the not knowing. I hope they returned the letter. Whether I get my account back or not I feel awful that someone was hacked of their belongings. I feel more awful that I was in possession of one, even though I honestly did not know. To me that letter was one of many of the same I wound up buying. To the rightful owner it was yet another thing stolen from him/her.
