Well today was pretty much and exact copy of yesterday. Workwise that is I put in fencing and such and thankfully finished it all today. So tommorow I'll be doing something else for a change. It's good to since I only have to work five hours tommorow. 3nodding So what shall I write about now? Well yesterday I wrote about my opinion of the meaning of life. Which is love so I think I'll go along those lines today. By explaining how I came into the wonderful relationship with my girlfriend.
Let me give you some background information about me before I start. I normally spend my evenings and spare time. On the computer doing various things I got my first online addiction after meeting a group of people on my first message board. Animal Crossing at gametalk. Check that out if your interested. I started visiting there about two years ago now. I made some great friends most of which I still know today. Just mention me as DJ there and at least the mod there will know who your talking about.
Anyways lets just say I enjoyed the net when I wasn't with my real life friends very much so. I was online pretty much all school nights. So my net addiction is pretty well established itself and isn't leaving anytime soon. But now onto my point...or point leading up to my real point. Hmm anyways enough blabbering. Sometime around November/December. I went back to my very first message board. I began posting again and ran across a couple new friends one of which added me to her msn messenger.
We talked for a couple months and sometime around febuary. She invited me into a chat with a couple of her friends. Which is exactly how I met my girlfriend Julia. Amanda the girl I met at gametalk introduced me to everyone and a Julia added me to her contact list. Well we talked for a long time and after a few twists in events. That I'm not even sure how to explain them. We became a couple officially on March 26th 2004. heart Anyways going back a couple weeks. A few of my friends were online and got introduced to Julia and all that group of friends. It was nearing april and my friends and I were getting ready for spring break. We didn't know where to go and just decided to meet our online friends.
We made this decision before Julia and I were even together. But that brings me back to a few crazy evenings. That were well...crazy! Well we ended up going but as a smaller group. Most of my friends were all talk about road trips and just happy staying in our little town for there entire lives. So it was only myself, my friend Jacob and another guy who jumped in at the last minute Daniel. We drove the 600 some miles and stayed in there town for the weekend. We all met at a coffee shop with Julia's parents there. I was beyond nervous at the time. But it whizzed by in no time.
We went and ate at pizza hut and then headed to the movies. I'll never forget the movie starsky and hutch because of that. I kissed my girlfriend for the first time there. Actually that was my first kiss. Let me explain real fast. I've always been old fashioned about things like that. I've always believed that things of that sort should be saved for someone you really know your going to be in a long lasting relationship with. So my entire teen years I refrained from just kissing some random girl here and there. Because I wanted my first to be something to look back upon with fond memories. Unlike a few of my friends who just made out at recess in grade school. sweatdrop
So the weekend went on great and then we went back home. It was sad leaving my girlfriend after meeting her in person for the first time. She was everything I wished for and more. heart We went a month or so and in may. It was time for me to graduate. I mailed Julia an invite to my graduation just for a nice gesture to her and her parents. But what I didn't expect was that her parents decided to actually come to it! So I got to be with my girlfriend the weekend I graduated from high school. I couldn't of asked for a better graduation gift then that.
But they returned home and we went back to the talking online and on the phone thing. Untill sometime in the beginning of June. I with my friend Daniel and Brandon. Drove down to her town and stayed at her house for a week. It was wonderful yet again and this time I looked at colleges in her town. Which is the area I'm planning on moving to for college. Since it'll be near my girlfriend and offer the courses I want. But after that week we went untill the last week in July to see each other in person again.
This time I went with my entire family. We decided to make it a vacation and camped out. Of course I paid for the entire thing as I mostly did for all the trips. But it is always worth it. Now Julia is planning on coming up here in about two weeks to stay for a week. I CAN'T WAIT! heart
So there you have a brief explaination of the history of my relationship. I'll recap we met online and then decided to date. From there we met in person and have never been as happy as we are right now. Well I think I explained that good enough. Of course I left out details but oh well. So now I'm going to go about my night. Awaiting the time untill she gets online. I'll probally head off to the journal whore thread. I'm starting to like it there. 3nodding
