Harry Potter
So we finally have Harry Potter as a sponsor movie Quest. It's the 6th one! Grr. D< If they'd started earlier, we could have had more HP Quest items. I used to whine to myself, wondering why we never got them as a sponsor...
I love the HP wand and hope that we get more items. I hope that they're a sponsor when the 7th movie comes out too.

Orange Gent Items
Apparently they snuck the orange gent items into the CS a few days before I made my complaint in my last entry. Sneaky peeps. >B but~
Yay for more orange items!
Oh well, I'm still waiting for that two-toned skittles hair from the ads~~
Masquerade
So far the masquerade has given us our first makeup and our first two-toned hair option. We have two-toned hair in the hair salon, but this item allows you to add bangs to your existing hair. With a variety of color choices, you can choose to add bangs of the same color or of a different color. Nifty.
I do hope we get more hair poses like this from other items in the future, too.
I really want to know if the masquerade can top itself again. What other long-petitioned item will we get next? If we didn't already get wink contacts, that would have been my guess.
WTF Moment
Today I bid on a purple nurse skirt. I stiiill don't have one because people always sell them in the mp for more than store price. I like to find deals, so I'm waiting until I find one. Today I decided to bid on a skirt.
The store price is 375g, so I bid 300g. I made what I thought was a generous bid, thinking I wouldn't be outbid and I'd finally have my skirt.
...
Three hours or so later, someone bid 600g. O:
I expected a bid of 301 to be the next bid.... but six hundred? Wow. It's not like there was even a bidding war going on. It was just so.. random. I don't understand why people pay more than store price for gold shop items and I don't think I ever will.
Gaia did release a feature in the last couple days where certain gold shops aren't available to new users until they pass a couple milestones. ... I don't know what stores aren't available, I hope someone has a thread up with the details. I think it's a horrible idea since older users might take advantage of this and price gouge some of those shop items. ... Er, well that was already happening anyway XD so I guess it's no difference. In this case, the user who outbid me was able to see the skirt in the Jock Strap shop.
