Chapter Three (this is war's story)
"were to go from here?" War asked himself as he walked away from the smoking remains of the orphanage. That was the only house he had,and he felt lost now.
mabey i can ask Epoch if i can stay with him he thought as a little boy came up to him
"excuse me, sir. Can you tell me where the orphanage is?" he asked. War shook his head, then bent his head down to the little kids level
"hate to break it to you kid, but the orphanage is gone"
"really?" The kid said, scared
war got up and started walking "i tell no lie."
"Wait!" the kid said. War walked back to the kid and stared him in the face
"what is it?"
"can i walk with you? i need to get home,and it'd getting dark" War smiled.
"shure" War picked the kid up and put him on his sholders. "just tell me where you live."
...
" It must be nice to live with a family." War said, walking the kid home
"i consider myself lucky to have been adopted to such a nice family" the kid responded. "you lived there for 18 years?"
"yeah, whenever someone came to adopt us, i was always left behind. i hated that place more than a bat hates Hell." War said, Chucking slightly at his joke.
By the time they got home, it was dark out, and the little kids Adopted parents were worried sick about him.
" Jimmy! thank God you are o.k!" his mother said, hugging him tightly.
"Mom! i'm fine.this is my friend, Brian." He introduced War to her.
"pleased to meet you, Brian."
"the pleasure is all mine," War said Bowing slightly. He picked up the little act some time ago, and did it when he met new people.
"thank you for geting Jimmy home safely, brian." Jimmy's mom said.
