And I don't understand it.
Quote:
It's night at the Pavilion, right in front of the strip that Family Christian Book Store is at -- all of the lights (the sign, the street lights) are off. I'm walking towards the building when the world gets darker. What was previously lit by a full moon sky turns dark. I look up and there's not a cloud in the sky, just a full moon being progressively covered.
"It's an eclipse," I say to myself as the crowd around me looks upward in fear. "... for... two moons..." it looks like there's two moons, one being covered by a shadow, and one who was losing it's shadow as we all looked to the sky.
"A WITCH!" Someone in the crowd screamed. I couldn't believe my eyes -- the stereotypical witch's shadow was flying across the sky, getting closer to us onlookers.
"That's not a witch..." I said, every word that came from my mouth was unheard by the rest, but right.
The shadow came close, the full moon completely uncovered, while the other dark circle still loomed in the sky. It was a short, green creature, with a tall black hat and a black long robe on.
"Good evening," it began, "I am" -angelic voices "Aaaaah~" "I have come here to write a book. A book that could be about you, but it's mostly about me. I wish not to be disturbed, and I won't be. Or you'll parish. Do not disturb me!" it exclaimed in it's nerdy voice, reaching it's arms to the sky and floating up into a great big white rectangle, like between stage curtins.
I ran over to my family -- Stephanie was trying to keep mom quiet. "Why should we listen to that thing?" mom said, loudly.
"Mom! Shut up!" Isaid in a hushed and aggrivated voice, "We don't know what that thing can and can't do, so be quiet!"
I looked back up to the sky. The thing was sitting Indian style in the sky, looking directly at us, with it's typewriter out and ready.
And I woke up.

Why the hell would I wake up from that and turn on all the lights on the bottom floor and the TV on to some kid's show?
Gah. I hate that I'm the only one who makes sense in my dreams... There was more, but it was more telling people to be quiet and observe it, instead of trying to attack it or interact with it.
I hate that I only MAKE sense in my dreams too. D:
