The mass massacre of Ungar city was the result of a war. A war of idiocy. Strenyh ( a country of great military strength) was at was with Otarwin (a country of high religious faith). Otarwin's common religion was Wantsyn. It was a belief of gods and goddesses and all that kind of stuff. the main God was a goddess called Ayas. Ayas is not really imprtant because the citizens of Otarwin have warped the religion over and over again to justify whatever they do. In this case, start a 'holy' war. No one really knows why. But everyone knows that the two countries never quit got along and that it was only a matter of time before one of them snapped. The war only lasted a year. It ended on the aniversary of its begining. And it ended in a draw (in a nuetral city no less). Both countries still blame each other for what happened.
The Ungar Massacre was when someone (it is not know who or what side he fought for) made a bomb. And not just any bomb. It was a bomb fused with a crap load of magic. Enough magic to raise all the dead in a country! and that bomb went boom in the center of Ungar. The dead mutilated beyond recognition. The surviving found covered in blood and without memory. Only 23 people survived. I was among the few survivors. Lucky me. All i remember is a fountain exploding. I think it was in the center of the city. I can stil hear the half second of screaming before i blacked out. I have no idea who I am, where I come from, if I was nuetral or not, Why I was near the fountain that day, how i survived (I had three large gashes and i lost a lot of blood. I dont even know how i got hurt), nor why i survived when i was ten feet from the bomb when it blew up. It is believed that the magic was in waves. Solid waves judging by the wounds on everyone within 50 miles of the bomb. But I dont care about any of that. All I care about is : who am I? Did my family survive? Did I even have family then? Seeing as I have no way of knowing (I seem to have permanent amnesia. Not many of the others do. Maybe its because i was so close to the bomb), I tried to think of the future.
When I was found by the Otarwin (the first to arrive, the Strenyh came after the Otarwin left for obvious reasons) they said it was it had rained blood for a week. Mangled bodies were everywhere. That it was a miracle that i was still alive (barely breathing and still bleeding from the magic 'waves'). The Otarwin took me to a hospital miles away. They even had a priest in my room to watch over me. He smelled odd. Even the Otarwin leader came to the hospital! (well there were 23 other people that were there, but i felt he came to see me) He told me that he will personally see to it that i get the best care. He even named me (I cannot even remeber my own name) I am now called Mia.
