Mannies Denial of the GOLDFISH
Phrases, Roses, Entwined
Phrases

If I never spoke to you again,
Would you still consider me a friend?

If I told you I'd be gone for good,
Would you help me if you could?

If the world were to stop turning,
In my heart your passion would still be burning.

More than a friend I found on that day,
There's so much more I wish I could say.

The one phrase that says it all,
It's one that is recognized in Summer, Spring, and Fall.

Look into her eyes and let your heart free,
Tell her "You are the one for me."

Give to her heart all that is due,
And say to her "I love you."

Roses

This poem while not amazing nor great is one of my own.

Verse one, red rose
Here is the first to come of a dozen
The rest of the gifts are this ones cousin
For here I have a message to send
But it wont be known completely until the end

Verse two, yellow rose
A flower bright as the morning sun
to remind you that your the one
the one I desire above all others
but this flower still brings sisters and brothers

Verse three, blue rose
Blue as the frost that once clouded my vision
Until the day i made my decision
To give into the feeling i felt in my chest
But this poem isn’t over you must wait to hear the rest

Verse four, black rose
Black as the hole that was once my heart
You came and mended it from the start
Carefully you pieced my broken heart together
Still more to be said but the poem wont last forever

Verse five, gilded rose
Gold as the light that you brought to my life
making me gaze in awe dropping the knife
held once suspended to my wrist
but this rose is not the last one on my list

Verse six, red rose
back to this the one as red as my eyes
Used to be as I gazed at people certain they told only lies
but with you I never had to be unsure
and still more of this poem you'll have to endure

Verse seven, yellow rose
yellow like the stars above
like them, no one can count how much love
i hold in my body that becomes a starry night
and still this poem continues the end not yet in sight

Verse eight, blue rose
Deep as the deepest ocean combined to the deepest sea
Higher then the tallest mountain combined with the tallest tree
my love is to strong for this poem to explain
but my attempt isn’t over more to come again

Verse nine, black rose
Dark as the night we both know and love
From the different creatures of the night to the moon above
Together we stand surrounding everything in a blinding light
but its not over yet the ending is announced after white

Verse ten, gilded rose
This flower is beautiful and pure
just like u whom was my cure
to forget all the troubles from my past
and still the poem continues but were close to the last

Verse eleven, white rose
the flower of winter supposedly white
keeps me wondering, a beacon in the night
I watch it and wonder how could it be
that this beautiful flower ended up with me
sorry to say the poem still isn’t done
still there is one more to come

Verse twelve, fire flower
burning forever as is my passion for you
this flower cant die and that always will be true
I promise forever I will tell you no lies
I will love you until the last flower in this bouquet dies

This was written by a Myself and a friend.

Entwined

Heart beats faster,
Body begins to shake,
Shortening of breath,
More than I can take.

Just like a drug,
Being inflicted,
Can't get enough,
Seems I'm addicted.

Feeling the contact,
Her hand on mine,
So close to each other,
Sends shivers down my spine.

Mind is unstable,
Reason unclear,
So hard to think,
When she is near.

No need to ponder,
I've made up my mind,
Our paths came as one,
And now we're entwined.

Out of the Shadows

Just another shadow in the crowd.
A hero in the masses.
Divided by none.
But spread into classes.
Tired of this s**t and ready to start blastin.

Times that we're livin in,
They make us grow hard.
We're growin up cold.
Cause we're forced to take charge.
We pay for their mistakes but we get no pardon.

They say we're the future.
The ones that'll make the change.
I hold only one question.
Why we gotta change the things that they've arranged?
You had all your fun now we get the pain?

Kids dyin for acceptance.
Just a drop of affection.
Turned away from our own homes.
Treated like an infection.
But they'll turn around and call us their reflection.

They see us in themselves.
And yet they don't understand.
Why we try so hard to find one diversion.
They think we're all stupid for the choices we make.
When once upon a time it was their lives at stake.

So quick to forget the mistakes that we've made.
But out of the shadows rings another serenade.
The darkness surrounds us with no avail.
Lettin us know the past is real.
A song to remind us of the things that we feel.

What we're left with at the end of the day.
Is just another candle to light the way.
Another lost soul to eternally roam.
The confines of this place that we all call home.
But who am I to tell you these tales?

Just another shadow in the crowd.
A hero in the masses.
Divided by none.
But spread into classes.
Tired of this s**t and ready to start blastin.
