Q: Is Abendroth gay?
A: Yes, he is a homosexual.

Q: How old is he?
A: As it says in the description on the profile, Abendroth was born in 1367. As of July 2009 he would be 641, since his birthday is in the fall.

Q: Why did you create this character?
A: He's been in the works for a few years now, even before I joined Gaiaonline. He started out as pure fantasy but has become the central figure in a story I've started writing.

Q: Is Aby (Abendroth) a vampire?
A: No, he is a separate species from human. He was born albino, with slitted red eyes and fangs (upper and lower...lower ones just don't show in the avi). His "kind" were refered to as "Blutjager" where he was born, and as common during that time his people got stuck with "Blutjager" as a last name. Within his own species they don't really have last names, only first names... sometimes two first names.

Q: Does he have a family?
A: Yes, since he was born into the family of "Blutjager". His mother's name was Morgenlied, his father Augenroth, his older sister Primelweiss, and he also had a baby brother, but I'm not sure what the name is yet.

Q: You speak of his family in past-tense... why?
A: His family was slaughtered in front of him when he was about 7 yrs old. A a few villagers from the neighboring village of Freiberg followed his father's tracks back to the family's shack in the forest. Then a mob from the village later returned with weapons of all sorts. The human mob unrightfully blamed Aby's family for all sorts of problems, such as the disappearance of a few teens from the village (they later showed up again), killing livestock (the Blutjager family killed wolves and foxes, not livestock), the Black Plague (which had swept through some time before, killing humans but not Blutjagers), and the downturn in the silver industry in Freiberg (the mines were drying up).
