Well, you have some talent here. Its rather repeats itself a little too much and is kinda dull on that thought. But than again most people are retarded, if you want my proof on that read all the other comments.

Normally, lyrics aren't written before the music, music first than you try to put the lyrics too it. Now if you had music I can understand. Mind you its good but it gets some what off topic and the words tend to kind of fall together in a melting pot of mediocrity. Now necessarily this isn't a bad thing. Generic and mediocrity make people feel safe. So you're appealing to what people know, cause every retard thinks they've felt some pain, or they know what its like to be alone. Most of these are whiny a** little retards that want internet fame. If you write you need feeling, and to be honest I don't feel it from you. Its good and may be you can write music for other bands. But remember with something like this its called "Sell out" Its a good job with plenty of perks but be willing to lose what your art may of stood for once. Many people will read my comment and get mad at me or say I don't know what I'm talking about.

You know what, most of you aren't intelligent enough to put a semi decent review or to even comprehend the song. Half of you sorta half mulled over it late at night, may be while watching T.V. or surfing the internet. You are what we call false hope. You people can't tell a sack of turds from brownies and that's why you need to be honest. No one gives a damn if you almost failed English. That's probably why you liked his work so much with out putting an effort into understanding it.

Music is a dead art, but some will persevere. If you are willing to take criticism and accept how other people my judge and dislike than good. Most of these "friends" and I stress that term lightly cause people don't really understand "Friendship" all that well, will judge you as amazing. I will be realistic as I read this and give you a proper face value of your work.

You need to focus on a rhyme scheme and stray away from wordiness and many repetitive lyrics unless the rest of the song is retarded to begin with. Doing this will make it semi interesting and give people some point to actually read it.

Its okay, its not bad, its not great, its average. Congrats on your average work my friend. And no its not a bad thing, you're just like the other several thousand people on the internet.
