There is a certain darkness,
Overcoming my mind,
It laughs in my face then walks away,
Leaving me behind,
I don't see the light,
The darkness became too deep,
I'm left alone, waiting,
And getting no sleep,
As the darkness closes around me,
I sink and hide for I know it's found me,
I can hear it calling,
Telling me to just let go,
But what it doesn't know,
Is that I'm already alone.


The "darkness" represents all those people that love to bring me down and leave me lying there alone. It just means that no matter what you say or do to me, it won't do you any good. Think about that one.
