Happy, happy, happy, merry christmas...and new year =P
Well, it have being a pretty crappy year >< , i mean we have had more hurricanes than ever down here. >.< i mean many of us were without electricity for about 2 weeks. But not only that, all around the world >.< natural disasters keep happening and that just make you wonder, "will we survive next time?", couse apparently they just get stronger with each coming year.
The truth is that behind all this tragedies, something magical happened, and that was union. People helped eachother and gave eachother hope, no matter what the losts have being that was something beautifull to see, specially on this times when most people are too busy with their own lives that they just can`t seem to stop for a little while and look around them.
But one thing that i enjoyed the most was when we had the black outs for like a week. Sure, taking baths with freezing cold water was not fun, but the fact that we had the time to get together at night and for once in a long time, have a meal together and share, that was magical. Since there is no electricity, there was no technology to keep everyone busy, works and schools were closed so we were rather forced to find another way of entertaintment, and it was nice seeing so many people outside, just enjoying the fresh air and cleaning up all the mess that the hurricane had left.
So tho this was a year of lost and disaster, it was actually a year in which everyone came together and shared time with their families. They gave a hand, and hope to everyone who had suffered from these natural disasters. So I must say as this year comes to an end, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, MERRY CHRISTMAS TOGETHER WITH ALL OTHER HOLIDAYS , AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!! heart
